Barack Obama Campaign using California as a Carbon Emissions Catalyst

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has this year issued executive commands to lower carbon content in California fuels. His goal is to reduce California automobile fuels in carbon intensity by 10 percent before the year 2020. Barack Obama is using this initiative as a catalyst to take Schwarzenegger’s initiatives to a national level and would like to see greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles cut by 5 percent by 2015 and 10 percent in 2020. Grass roots efforts could be easily seen on Obama’s supporters t-shirts as this is a phrase that appears frequently in his campaign. He wants America to be greener and wants the tyrannical oil efforts to end. Earth Day supporters would gladly agree saying “Barack Obama is my homeboy”.
